ENTES RG-T Series Power Factor Controllers are intelligent, high-performance devices designed to optimize energy usage by automatically managing reactive power in electrical systems. Specifically engineered to prevent the consumption of reactive energy (kVArh) beyond the levels defined by local energy regulations, these controllers play a critical role in reducing electricity bills by minimizing the kVA demand through efficient operation of capacitor banks. In power factor correction systems, the controller acts as the central component, continuously monitoring the electrical parameters and dynamically switching capacitor stages on or off to maintain a desired power factor commonly between 0.95 to 1.00 lag. This ensures maximum utilization of the capacitor banks and reduces unnecessary charges associated with poor power factor levels. The RG-T Series operates on three-phase voltage and uses just one current transformer (CT), making installation both simple and cost-effective. What sets ENTES apart is the ease of configuration—the controller is designed to be user-friendly, allowing for quick setup without the need for advanced technical knowledge. Whether for a new installation or integration into an existing system, the RG-T Series offers flexible and precise control. Additionally, when used alongside ENTES capacitor contactors, the system ensures smooth capacitor switching, protecting equipment from harmful inrush currents and enhancing overall durability. This combination of intelligent automation, reliable operation, and regulatory compliance makes the ENTES RG-T Series an essential solution for industrial and commercial facilities aiming to improve energy efficiency, avoid reactive power penalties, and maintain long-term electrical system stability.
